Overview

This individual will be responsible for maintaining the current products and transfer R&D new products to production, and fulfilling Wavecor products, new project/product design and development. Excellent computer skill such as 3D is required.  Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a variety of people in a wide range of functional areas is mandatory.  Good understanding of speaker manufacturing process and material features is desirable.

Responsibilities

l   Developing engineering drawing with specifications, transfer 3D to 2D drawing.

l   Design fixtures for both design stage and mass production stage.

l   Ensure the qualification of tooling and equipment to satisfy quality requirements.

l   Plan, organize and supervise project development

l   Perform further failure analysis to technical problems and taken effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.

l   Product packaging design, which including carton and inner supporting parts, label, etc.  Making Packing instruction.

l   Work on design failure which causes production low pass rate.

l   Document in-process sub-assembly and finished product identification method.

l   Define quality plan to ensure built and shipped products is satisfying customer and design specifications and requirements.

l   ECN issue and follow up

l   Ensure the supplier qualification for direct and indirect material for volume production.

l   Work with suppliers to optimize the parts design

l   Define the inspection parameters and criteria for incoming inspection.

l   Coordinate and resolve customer complaints related to new products.

l   Perform other tasks assigned by superior

Education and Experience

l   Minimum 8 years solid experience in product development and mechanical design, preferably in speakers /multimedia / audio / electronics industries

l   Major in Mechanical Engineering or related area.

l   Good understanding of speakers manufacturing process and material features

l   Proficient in 3D/2D and computer operation

l   Strong communication and coordination skills

l   Knowledge with ISO9001/IATF16949 is required

l   Good command of English in writing and speaking is preferred
