Job Summary: The Senior Quality Manager is a leadership role responsible for overseeing and ensuring the highest quality standards and regulatory compliance within the organization. This position involves managing quality teams, implementing quality strategies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Quality Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive quality strategy aligned with organizational goals. Ensure the integration of quality standards throughout the organization. Quality Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, providing guidance and professional development. Oversee the recruitment and training of quality personnel. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all products and processes adhere to relevant quality regulations and standards. Stay updated on changes in regulations and guide the organization in compliance efforts. Quality Assurance Processes: Develop and improve quality assurance processes and methodologies. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality programs. Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with the Supplier Quality Manager to assess and manage supplier quality. Establish strong relationships with key suppliers to enhance overall quality. Quality Metrics and Reporting: Define and track key quality performance metrics. Prepare and present quality reports to senior management. Audits and Inspections: Coordinate internal and external audits and inspections. Ensure timely resolution of audit findings and non-conformities. Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in quality processes. Lead or support quality improvement projects and initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as Production and R&D, to address quality-related issues. Ensure quality considerations are integrated into product development.
Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering). 2. years of experience in quality management, with 10+ years in a leadership role. 3. Strong knowledge of quality standards, regulations, and best practices. 4. Proven experience in managing and mentoring quality teams. 5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. 7. Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred. 8. Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
