1. Role and Responsibilities * Create and implement should-be cost model * Manage cost benchmarking across industry * Provide reliability of costing datum at each phase * Coordinate VE (Value Engineering) to drive cost reduction * Manage VSM (Value Stream mapping) and initiate projects to drive cost improvements * Set cost targets for new & modified purchased components * Continuously review and optimize the process improvements throughout the overall supply chain * Evaluate ECR cost assessment during program phase * Monitor and report raw material price trend * Manage RFQ (Request For Quotation) 2. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s Degree, major in Engineering/ Finance preferred. * At least 5 years of experience in cost management or an industrial environment including production, manufacturing engineering, or related industries. * Strong to define cost modelling and analysis * Good knowledge in manufacturing processes and able to breakdown the cost structure * Familiar with supply chain flow and have good sense in total cost ownership * Able to search and utilize the information sources for raw material cost across industry * Strong analytic skills and skillful in MS Excel * Good team player * Good project management skills * Demonstrated strong communication skills, analytical skills * Proficient in English communication * Accept the frequency of travelling
