PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
61 Support & ensure the ‘Competitive price’ deal by cost analysis/negotiations in process of development and sustaining of on-time delivery of products with highest quality
61 Perform target price estimation with “Should” cost analysis to assist Business team in determining fair and reasonable pricing
61 Perform cost control, cost driver identification & variance analysis and data consolidation to support the related decision-making
61 Ensure cost checking and valuation work is managed effectively
61 Manage estimating and cost planning activities to include taking ownership of and present the cost plan
61 Initiate and drive saving activities with suppliers and internal stakeholders
61 Justify or validate the product costs accuracy based on cost breakdown; market index; research; benchmarking; forecasting and negotiation with suppliers
61 Provide regular reports for the spend projection & saving performance with clear visualization and interpretation
61 Provide cost input and support the creation of a business case for different categories
61 To collect and sort out materials needed in the accounting project, or obtain information through research, and establish the database needed for cost accounting
61 Take a lead role in interfacing with the Supplier and other co-team, at all project stages
61 Be responsible for the cost related data/documentation maintenance, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
61 Min. 8 years relevant experience in product cost management
61 Experience in manufacturing is preferable
61 Experience in Juvenile industry would be advantage
61 Strong analytical skills and good technique in cost estimation
61 Able to interpret data conclusion effectively
61 Mature, pre-active and hands-on with good initiative
EDUCATION & SKILLS
61 Bachelor’ Degree in Mechanical/Electronic or related disciplines is required
61 Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit
61 Excellent analysis judgment and independent thinking ability
61 Independent and efficient in work, strong learning ability
61 Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiation, influence and persuade others
61 Fluency in written and spoken English
61 Able to work under pressure and on multiple tasks at the same time with good time management skills and working efficiency
61 Flexible to have different time zone meetings with oversea team
