Staff representative for Business Management- Main tasks: 1. Manage the project portfolio based on Brand and Company requirements. 2. Comprehend long-term business and market/also Dorel client requirements from DJU for Nursery Furniture, clear understanding in delivery time/ function/ specification and budget (including the NPD and refresh items), 3. Leading project team on delivery of Nursery Furniture to Market. Work with DJU and manage suppliers to prepare commercial products & meet project deliverables during the product development at the best price and commercial terms. 4. Prepare dashboard meeting document/phase exit files to provide the overall view to the projects/programs, establish core team and lead project activities on key phase and communicate information to core team, include but not limited to resource allocation, R&R define, etc. 5. Generate & review sourcing proposals from different suppliers on scope of Brief, Cost, Quality and Risk. Introduce new suppliers for innovative products and technologies when necessary to meet market and product needs. 6. Manage cost saving figure and achieve saving through suppliers’ negotiation, VAVE and product transfers. 7. Actively participate in the continuous improvement of project/supplier management within the organization.
Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or project management, PMP certification is preference. 2. 8 years of experience in product development/program development, preferably in related Nursery Furniture area from ground up concept to design and to market launch, good at Nursery Furniture product specification, material, development process and supplier management. 3. Be familiar with wood material, good at wood design 4. Good communication & negotiation skills with foreign/China cross-functional team and suppliers, experience in the international environment is preference. 5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with multiple co-development projects. 6. Master project management tools, demonstrate ability to build dashboards for problem solving. 7. Integrity whole team for improvements, good at convincing and influencing different stakeholders. 8. English fluent both in writing and speaking. Good presentation and reporting skills, strong spirit of teamwork.
