Key Responsibilities: 1) Financial Reporting & Analysis – - Oversee the preparation and analysis of group financial statements in compliance with local (China GAAP) and international (IFRS/US GAAP) standards. - Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders, including board members and investors. - Provide strategic insights through financial analysis to support decision-making and business growth. 2) M&A experience : - due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess strategic opportunities and risks. - Develop financial models and scenarios to evaluate potential acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships. - Oversee post-merger integration, ensuring alignment of financial systems, processes, and reporting. 3) Compliance & Enterprise Risk Management (ERM): - Ensure compliance with all financial, legal, and regulatory requirements in China. - Develop and implement robust internal controls and risk management frameworks. - Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks across the organization. - Lead internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings. 4) Tax Strategy & Compliance: - Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the organization’s tax position while ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations. - Manage relationships with external tax advisors and regulatory authorities. - Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations in China and assess their impact on the business 5) Leadership, Team Development & Future Proofing: - Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team. - Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. - Develop and Lead digitalization projects.
Key Requirements: -1) Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. -2) At least 5 years of accounting experience. -3) Experience with risk management, internal controls. -4) Familiarity with PRC GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations in China -5) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. -6) Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills -7) Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Youyou, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
