We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Network and System Engineer to join our team. As a Network and System Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our organization's network and system infrastructure. You will be responsible for configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting network and system components, implementing security measures, and providing technical expertise to ensure the stability and efficiency of our operations. Responsibilities: ?Install, configure, and maintain network and system hardware, software, and related infrastructure components. ?Perform routine maintenance tasks, including patch management, firmware upgrades, and system backups. ?Troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues, both independently and collaboratively with the team. ?Monitor network and system performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks and performance issues. ?Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls. ?Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement network and system upgrades, migrations, and integrations. ?Assist in the design and implementation of network and system solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability. ?Create and maintain network and system documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures. ?Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance network and system performance. ?Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, resolving network and system-related inquiries and issues. Requirements: ?Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus. ?Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in network and system engineering or administration. (For Senior position, a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required. Entry-level candidates are also welcome and will be considered based on their qualifications and potential.) ?Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting network and system infrastructure in both Windows and Linux environments. ?Strong knowledge of networking protocols, IP addressing, routing, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers. ?Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as VMware vSphere, and experience with hypervisors (e.g., ESXi). ?Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices, with the ability to implement security measures within a network and system environment. ?Experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds. ?Familiarity with storage technologies, backup and recovery solutions, and disaster recovery planning. ?Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network and system issues. ?Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and end-users. ?Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
