Purpose
1.Lead plant total engineering team, covering IE, PE and maintenance, Tooling team, ensure process integration engineering and defect reduction engineering.
2.Lead New Technology Integration transfer and matching to ensure success.
3.Responsible for factory product yield improvement and meeting all customer needs and ensure customer satisfaction.

Main Day to Day Responsibilities
1.Lead and drive for continuous improvement of production performance in terms of productivity, , quality (defect, yield), cost (efficiency) and safety.
2.Establish and lead the IE team to achieve the department goals and objectives that align with company goals.
3.Lead a Tooling Team for all production Tooling management and maintenance tasks.
4.Also lead a Maintenance team of engineers to work for the support on Production Capacity improvement. (Machinery, Fixture, workshop layout etc.)
5.Identify barriers in NPI, and to resolve the potential problem upfront.
6.Identify improvement opportunities in all production process and drive for the results through the application of Lean & Six Sigma methodologies or other best practices.
7.Review production process, operations and workflow on a regular basis, initiate proposals, and drive for improvement.
8.Define production standards by using scientific methodologies includes KPI, analysis of cost effectiveness and efficiency process flow study, time, and motion study etc.
9.Review technical skills versus industrial standards and drive for improvement.
10.To be the owner from pilot run through mass production, to ensure the efficiency, quality is in order.
11.Lead problem solving process in all production stages.
12.Provide training and coaching to production leaders for professional set up of assembling line and best practice in production process.
13.Provide professional advice in production engineering and production process.
14.Provide technical advice on all production and quality issues and trouble-shooting Work closely with cross function departments and equipment suppliers.
15.Create and follow up on testing procedures to support all projects.
16.Perform ad hoc assignment by management.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree or above in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical engineering or relevant engineering discipline.

Experience:
1.Minimum 8 years relevant experience in manufacturing sector, with minimum 5 years in managerial position and with solid experience in Continuous Improvement in Production Process Program PIE, IE, PE, and ME related.
2.Hands on experience in assembly line set up, workspace layout, facilities and equipment, production performance study and analysis.
3.Solid experience in Lean Manufacturing Management, or related Continuous Improvement / Manufacturing Process Change management is an advantage.
4.Solid experience in PIE and Good at manufacturing technique of electrical household appliances especially strong in assembly line and warehouse operation
5.Strong leadership, influencing, time management, change management and project management skills.
6.Result-oriented, teamwork, good communication and interpersonal skills.
7.Self-motivated, independent, strong conceptual & analytical skill and able to work under pressure.
8.Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin).
