- Purpose of Position: The primary role of this position is to lead and manage the Videojet engineering team in Zhuhai China. This position will be responsible for managing a team of engineers to ensure sustainability of products, with a goal of exceeding customer expectations around safety, quality, and delivery, and will require close collaboration with Operations, and other Videojet R&D teams around the world. The position demands both technical expertise and team leadership - Essential Functions: 61 Manage the engineering resources to develop of new features, maintenance of the line, as well as modifications of the current product offering. 61 Lead and architect design and implementation of product design changes, and make technical decisions 61 Manage and prioritize project pipeline 61 Recruit, select, develop and effectively align engineering talent to optimize skills against development needs. 61 Creates annual performance objectives and development plans for staff members to help them achieve their career goals.
