Reporting to the EHS Manager, the EHS Engineer role involves below job responsibilities. What a typical day looks like: In charge of developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental, health and safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with EHS related laws and regulations, mitigate and eliminate operation's EHS risks. 1. Conduct regular EHS related laws and regulations identification and compliance evaluation, implementation of the EHS related laws and regulations. 2. Coordinate and escort the 3rd part/customer/local government regulators EHS audit. 3. Develop and conduct EHS training program and EHS activities for promote employee’s EHS awareness and company EHS culture. 4. Conduct regular environmental aspect and hazard investigation and assessment to minimize the risk exposure and continue improvement 5. Conduct occupational health surveillance for the employees that exposed to occupational hazards. 6. Conduct new equipment/chemical/process/layout safety assessment / safety buy-off to minimize the risk exposure. 7. Conduct multiple safety inspection/internal audit for continuous improvement of on-site safety performance. 8. Lead in EHS incident / accident investigation, accident statistics, analysis and reporting, recommend corrective / preventive action and effective implementation. 9. Facilitate Emergency Preparedness & Response. The experience we’re looking to add to our team: 1. Typically requires a college Degree in safety engineering, Environment Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience in EH&S knowledge 2. Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in EH&S or related position. 3. Requires ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 internal auditor certificate.
