Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do: 1. During the pilot production and mass production stages of new products, serve as the primary or secondary point of contact to communicate with Customer's design, engineering, and quality assurance departments, ensuring a thorough understanding of customer intentions and requirements. Communication can be via email, instant messaging tools, or direct dialogue, with the latter being preferred. 2. Analyze Customer drawings and conduct structural design analysis and solution assessments for new products. 3. Organize and evaluate experimental validation (DOE) of new materials and processes. 4. Independently or as a key team member, conduct in-depth and ongoing research on yield and efficiency issues during the trial production and mass production of new products, providing timely technical support and optimization suggestions. 5. For various solution validations, independently compile and generate closure reports based on data collection. 6. Coordinate with assembly engineering and automation teams to participate in the installation and debugging of new equipment and tooling.
Here is some of what you’ll need (required): 1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 2. Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience in product development, with a focus on mechanical engineering (candidates with strong abilities and a diploma degree may be considered if they have 8+ years of experience in product assembly). 3. Proficient in basic manufacturing processes and techniques involving plastic molding, metalworking, adhesive application, and lubrication. 4. Familiar with the basic technical management and performance indicators for tooling, fixtures, and equipment under various fixed assembly processes. 5. Experienced in evaluating the technical management and performance indicators of indirect materials used in various fixed assembly processes, enabling the ability to assess and select appropriate materials. 6. Possess a basic understanding of testing methodologies that meet design specifications for various fixed assembly processes, including strength, gas tightness, impact resistance, and reliability testing. 7. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and possess good English language skills.
