Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
61 Responsible for customer interface on strategic materials for key assigned accounts
61 Primary materials interface for customer in new project start-up, as well as internal supply chain coordinator between sourcing, buyer, planner & PM
61 Drive sourcing strategies in materials quotations. Present materials value-ads to customers, and influence customers to use Flextronics preferred suppliers
61 Develop and lead implementation of flexibility and supply assurance plans
61 Track material financial performance, and initiate corrective actions when required
61 Manage material cost review (local, regional and global). Lead supply base management effort to support customers’ needs such as cost reduction & supply chain solutions
61 Exercise supervisory responsibilities, involving in basic management
61 Develop proactive supply chain improvement plan-Lead time reduction, MOQ reduction, localization & alternative sourcing, replenishment program penetration

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):
61 College degree or above, majoring in Management or Economics is preferred, supplier management, material procurement or planning background
61 5+ years working experience in material function
61 Be familiar with BAAN/ERP system
61 Good communication and presentation in both English and Chinese.
61 Be good at using Microsoft office tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
