Main Responsibilities
1. In charge of R&D relevant lab instrument in site, but also understand labs scope at APAC level with difference sites (SHZ, ZHU, YUP, CUD, DCP JP, and GZ AD Center) for business development not only ZHU site.
2. Generate the technical data for new product promoting to markets (e.g. TDS or additional technical information), especially focus on parameter setting in TDS, product characterization, specification drafting.
3. Responsibility for APAC R&D technical and safety meeting with colleagues locating in China, Japan and India inclduing the meeting hoster in English.
4. In charge of instruments SOP optimization and reliabilities of lab instruments (e.g. audit of machine calibration).
5. Contact window of BD/AD to come out the information of new materials properties more closing to customers (e.g. CTQ data), but also support QC and production to analysis or assist for the customer complaint.
6. Support Head of TPU Innovation APAC to work out the annual investment list of R&D lab instruments at APAC level.
7.Capable person who is easy to catch up machinery more in detail acting as an expert or consultant for specific test.
Value added to the success of the company – what are the main objectives of the function?
Generate and/or evaluate samples in the laboratory according to instructions to support development, product quality control, and process research & development programs underunder the supervision of the Head of Innovation TPU APAC.
1. Manage material analysis works from technical part to different regions of APAC, ont only in ZHH site. For example, analysis trial materials which done in YUP (***) or CUD (India) plant.
2. Establish network of lab teachnial disucssion with expert locating in DOR and DCP.
3. Capable person who is easy to catch up machinery more in detail acting as an expert or consultant for specific test.
Qualification Requirements (Education & Work Experience)
61 Master degree in Chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or material science with excellence working experience in plastic.
61 Knowledge of common laboratory procedures and skill and mechanical aptitude in handling laboratory equipment as well as modifying/adapting laboratory equipment for specific development programs.
61 Ability to analyze, review and summarize data in an effective manner.
61 Computer skills (e.g. MS Office and lab-specific software).
61 Good technical and interpersonal communication skills.
61 Ability to maintain a safe work environment and follow safe work practices (e.g. with chemicals, and mechinery parts).
61 Minimum 2-3 years working experience in plastic field and well skill of machine operation more prefer.
61 Good presentation skills, in written and spoken English.
