Supplier Quality Engineer

This position is responsible for making sure Scania suppliers quality system and performance aligns with Scania quality standards and processes.
A Supplier Quality Engineer sometimes needs to have support and guidance by a senior colleague to complete his or her task.
Job Responsibilities：
80Review technical specifications for assignment with support from SQM and/or R&D;
80Make quality assurance plan and determine quality classification of assigned parts with support from SQM;
80Participate in technical review with supplier;
80Collect and evaluate self-audit report from supplier;
80Evaluate supplier through carrying out Pre-POT;
80Organize and assist POT and/or Process Audit;
80Perform preliminary Q-rating for assigned suppliers;
80Evaluate the APQP from suppliers connected to assigned parts;
80Support part validation and testing;
80Assist supplier with introduction training;
80Organize and perform Significant Production Run;
80Prepare PPAP approval for parts;
80Input and maintain Q information in the related systems for assigned activities;
80Participate and support R@R;
80Handle quality deviations on approved parts;
80Complete tasks assigned by the Head of Supplier Quality or the Supplier Quality Director;
80Coordinate all above with the colleagues in the local and global 3-ring.
Candidate Requirements：
Education and/or Experience
80Bachelor degree or above, major in manufacturing, engineering or related field, or equal working experience in automotive industry required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
80Knowledge in automotive quality, automotive core tools, PPAP etc.
80Understanding of technical drawings and quality specifications;
80Be able to effectively transfers thoughts and expresses ideas orally or verbally in individual or group situations;
80Adding structure and planning to work situation by defining priorities and completing the work in a systematic, efficient fashion within the required timeframe according to expectations;
80Demonstrates the effort, willingness and ambition to achieving results and meeting objectives and respond proactively to avoid disappointing results;
80Able to effectively work and complete group assignments in both formal and informal settings. Works cooperatively, with a positive attitude with others to achieve common goals, valuing others contributions;
80Attention to details to ensure accuracy while working to strict deadlines;
80Proven ability to work accurately with figures and spreadsheets in combination with good computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment;
80Fluently in reading and writing English;
80Willingness to take frequent travel.
