Work as an integral part of the China Corporate Public Affairs team and drive advocacy on agricultural and ag-sustainability topics as well as pet food and pet care-related policies through cross-market, cross-functional and cross-segment internal collaboration and effective external stakeholder engagement with government regulators, industry and trade organizations, NGOs and other actors that are relevant to the advocacy efforts, with the purpose of protecting and promoting the business operation and reputation.

61Based in Beijing and willing to travel.

What will be your key responsibilities?
61Navigate the Chinese agricultural regulatory space and drive advocacy in areas of farming and pets on topics including, but not limited to, food security, climate smart agriculture, other ag sustainability initiatives, pet food standards, and other topics related to pet care and veterinary development.
61Lead the design and execution of stakeholder engagement plans in the afore-mentioned advocacy space to serve set objectives, and to support stakeholder engagement on other topics that serve broader company interest with guidance from line manager and other internal stakeholders.
61Engage purposefully and effectively with stakeholders from government to business, academics to NGO, and build lasting network to support advocacy.
61Collaborate with internal and external partners to share best practices and create enabling policy environment to protect and promote business operation and reputation.
