Job Summary: This entry level/early career professional, dual customer/product focused position serves as the technical liaison between OEMs and represents our customers during new product development programs. Applying Cummins’ products to customer vehicles requires the development of technical specifications, implementing new design configurations, and delivering high performance, low-cost equipment and system solutions integrated with customers’ products in a variety of applications. Integrating high quality and optimized customer solutions requires the interaction with sales and marketing teams.
Core responsibility: Machine integraion and optimizaiton 1. More focused on powertrain system integration, especially on AMT, hybrid and hydraulic system integration 2. Support OEM on powertrain selection and performance simulaiton 3. Work insite with OEM on vehicle/machine powertrain validation test, include basic machine performance test like drivability and fuel economy test etc. 4. Solving powertrain system integration issues.
Skill, Education, or Experience Requirements needed for the role 1. System integration knowledge on AMT, hybrid or hydraulic system. 2. 2-3 year experience on AMT, hybrid or hydraulic system integration tuning test and trouble-shooting. Skill, Education, or Experience Preferences that are nice to have but not required: 1. Control experience preffered 2. Off-highway hydraulic system design or validation experience preffered
