职位描述
Position summary
The Technical Specialist is a skilled technical position which relies on in-depth technical competence, consultative selling skills and the use of the ZEISS Sales Process (ZSP). The in-depth technical & operational includes knowledge of the ZEISS microscope systems, components & softwares (inclusive of system operation); related imaging workflow; as well as relevant sample preparation protocols.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Increase WIN probability of active opportunities
2. Training program planning and application training support
3. Post-sales activities
Team works within other functional groups of full-time employees in Hong Kong,Macao and Mainland China.
Requirements
Education
1、Master’s degree or higher, in Life Science or relevant field of studies
Experience
1、 Minimal 2 years of academic research experiences in Life Science or relevant field of studies using high-end LM/EM microscopes.
2、 Lived and worked in the respected field
3、 Extensive LM/EM experiences in life science, including Bio sample preparation, operation and use of LM/EM and post-image processing
4、 Excellent technical service ideally in Academic Life Science, Industrial and Clinical
5、 Extensive customer training experience in instruments and technical sensitivity preferred
Other skills
1、Superior presentation skills, comfortable in addressing senior / very influential scientific audience
2、 Strong Interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
3、Customer-oriented
4、 Assessing situation/problem and logically and creatively working out solutions
5、 Develop and maintain sales tool kit (STK) facing to sales of Academic life science
6、 Ability to work with internal and cross functional teams within a matrix organization
7、 Willing to travel
8、 Excellent spoken and written English
Main tasks
1、Develop sales tactic plan to support regional sales team to Increase WIN probability of active opportunities and develop potential customer.
2、Effective and excellent product introduction and demonstration to customers.
3、 Supporting marketing activities for ZEISS product and solution introductions.
4、 Providing necessary technical documentation for business promotion, sales tools and competitive marketing intelligence.
5、 Stay ‘up-to-date’ on the latest technological & market / research trends, understand customers needs and regularly reporting to line manager.
6、 Delivery the high quality application training to all customers after installation.
7、 Ensures the development and growth of potential customer by maintaining stable and good customer relationship in China by effective approach.
8、Go to digital: Utilize the digital approach to support pre-sales and after-sales activities(including presentation, workshop,training and other technique support) .
