Job Description
The Finance officer will assist the Finance Manager & Site Leads with operational activities in accounting and finance, reporting and receipting. The Finance officer is also required to provide administrative support to the team on a regional basis. .
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Client/Stakeholder Management
Provide superior customer service to meet on-site client’s expectations
Finance Management
Assist in financial processes to ensure that all financial management requirements are completed in a timely and accurate manner
Ensure prompt and accurate management of purchase orders
Manage the processing and invoice receipting from vendors
Populate monthly reports on health status of budget
Review and submission of accrual reports to Finance manager
Track and manage invoice documentation within shared storage file
Provide administration support as required to the Operational
Provide a level of support to the Facilities Manager with annual budgeting exercises
Assist in completion of Ad-hoc/routine requests/reports from Client/Finance Manager
Site Operations Management
Assist in the implementation of Industry Best Practice operations
Seek ways to constantly reduce costs and improve operational standards
Ongoing management of local finance playbook
Risk Management
Follow established escalation procedures for finance related concerns
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION: KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
Ideal Experience
Prior experience in finance, facilities, or related field preferred
Knowledge of facilities and vendor management for specialized services is advantageous
Previous experience with budget management and financial analysis skills
