ACTIVITIES
Strategic Sourcing Project
- Internal data collection and spend analysis
- Sourcing of vendor information and evaluation of potential vendors
- Preparation of vendor list and bidder list
- Sending inquiry and ensure the receipt of quotation within the bid due date
- Coordinate the requests and responses on technical clarification with internal stakeholders prior and after receipt of the bid.
- Commercial evaluation of bid documents
- Commercial negotiation with vendor
- Arrange internal nomination meetings with stakeholders in time
- Preparation of frame contract with selected vendor
- Monitor the progress of order place from sites, Daily Opex contract management
- Support site procurement on vendor management for GASP categories
Category related PO management for ACI and CS Platform
- Check with users if proper procedure is followed according to Procurement SOP
- Input all sourcing information in SAP for PO operation team further actions
Expected results:
1. Ensure the data accuracy by good communication with site procurement team &users
2. Ensure the bidding process in line with procurement procedure
3. Ensure the savings realized by good contract management and vendor management for responded categories.
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
Providing professional procurement input to sites and BU, which is assigned by procurement manager for Opex spending
ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Following the procurement schedule required by PMs.
2. Well preparing procurement status and procurement files.
3. Collecting vendor information and market price information, internal data.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1. Minimum 3-5 years experience in plant procurement in chemical or chemical related industry
2. Background in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering preferred, MNC experience preferred
3. Excellent in English speaking and writing, strong strategic sourcing experience
4. Strategic thinking, strong communication skills and negotiation skills
5. Good sense of project management and schedule control
6. Team player, strong willingness to win through team work
7. Open minded, willing to learn and grow
