What is the job about?
61 Sourcing qualified MRO and facility vendors.
61 Negotiate with MRO suppliers to get a competitive price, on time delivery and qualified goods and service.
61 Establish and manage cost saving goals for MRO material and facility purchasing.
61 Manage the MRO, facility and service in different categories, set up the sourcing strategy for different categories.
61 Monitor and evaluate vendor performance.
61 Generate various analysis reports for assigned commodities.
61 Collaborate with all other departments and suppliers to create a good solution for open and difficult issues.

Your main responsibilities:
Value based sourcing related activities:
61 Responsible for Indirect Purchasing Goals.
61 Indirect Purchasing Category Savings and cost avoidance
61 Local Site Indirect category for MRO and facility Purchase Order Coverage
And facility Contract Coverage
61 Responsible for local suppliers, tendering process (eRFI & RFQs and e-auctions), the creation and updating of contracts, price and contract negotiations and driving cost out activities.
61 Responsible for keeping the Indirect Purchase Minimum payment days term, build the yearly roadmap based on Group Purchasing priorities in alignment with Production Plant priorities.
Category team:
61 Participate in developing the Indirect Purchasing Strategies for key suppliers and relevant collaborative suppliers.
61 Be part of a team of cross-functional key stakeholders between Plant with APAC Group Purchasing, and APAC Indirect Purchasing with Global Indirect Purchasing especially CoE.
61 Develop supplier portfolio with a localization and site plant focus
61 Drive projects or activities aligned with category strategy
61 Operational Procurement Management related activities
61 Accountable for Vendor master data (Shared service task with other stakeholders)
61 Accountable for updating Purchasing conditions (Shared service task with other stakeholders)
61 Support solving of suppliers or components related issues
61 Act as Escalation point for plant according to escalation matrix
61 Lead Purchasing tasks in temporary outsourcing due to capacity constraints
Supplier Relationship Management related activities:
61 Responsible for Local suppliers:
61 Monitor the performance of suppliers (e.g., on-time deliveries, quality).
61 Prepare and participate in follow-up with suppliers on performance against target and agreed development activities.
61 Follow up on improvement initiatives.
61 Classification of suppliers.

What do you need to apply?
We expect you have:
61 Relevant commercial or technical education; Apprenticeship and job-related work experience or associate degree
61 Good experience / background in sourcing, prior for experience in MRO and facility purchasing.
61 Ability to read / understand drawings and technical requirement.
61 With ERP experience. Strong analytical abilities.
61 With good ISO9000 knowledge.
61 Able to execute multiple assignments with competency to adapt in a changing environment.
61 Must exhibit strong problem-solving skills with ability to make decisions executing sound judgment.
61 Successful negotiation skills with proven track record of cost savings
