Duties & responsibilities 61 Manage information to optimise requirements to meet schedule dates for customer orders, continually monitoring information and managing resources 61 Set promised dates for customer orders and liaise with Sales Department accordingly 61 Release production orders on a timely basis and follow through to ensure satisfactory completion 61 Prepare summary reports and make recommendations concerning manufacturing, capacity, transactions and accuracy. 61 Liaise with Production Managers regarding capacity and stock requirements to meet incoming orders 61 Carry out necessary follow-up activities to ensure delivery and transaction schedules are met 61 Continuous improvement/development of systems and procedures in support of process improvements and elimination of waste 61 Liaise with Purchasing Department regarding product lead-times and progress of deliveries 61 Liaise with Customer Service and Technical Departments to ensure all inquires are dealt with promptly and in line customer requirements 61 Utilize the company’s computer program for entering and processing orders 61 Documents all contacts, actions and responses in the appropriate database. 61 Maintains working knowledge of products and/or services. 61 Prepares reports and correspondence accurately and efficiently. 61 Effectively communicates customer issues and concerns to all applicable internal staff members. 61 Follow up with production to ensure orders are being processed and shipped on a timely manner. 61 Provide support to the outside sales representatives as needed.
