Responsibilities: Category Management - Serve as the global Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the designated category within RAS organization. - Ensure availability of legacy spare parts for machines with long life cycles (up to 30 years), develop and execute localization strategies, ensuring parts for key markets (e.g., Asia) are sourced regionally to reduce transportation costs and lead times. Strategic Sourcing - Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring they can support both small and large batch sizes. - Drive localization efforts, negotiate cost-effective agreements, emphasizing quality, flexibility, and lead time improvements. Cost Optimization & Operational Efficiency - Work closely with engineering, R&D, and after-sales teams to identify alternative materials or manufacturing processes that will optimize costs and reduce lead times. - Implement lean sourcing practices to improve the purchasing efficiency, support initiatives to optimize inventory management. Risk and Compliance - Work closely with the globe team to develop resilient supplier relationships, monitor supplier performance. Identify, assess, and mitigate procurement risks - Ensure compliance with procurement policies, sustainability goals, and risk mitigation strategies, aligning with corporate standards and regulations.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field - 10+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management ideally in manufacturing industries - Experience in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management - Knowledge of global supply chain dynamics, including localization strategies - Can work under pressure, logical and systematic thinking.
