Leadership tasks: - Technical and disciplinary management of a logistics team of skilled workers / operators - Documentation of processes and creation of work instructions as well as collaboration on test instructions - Instruction of employees, monitoring of work execution and work results - Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and environmental regulations - Cross-team work allocation taking into account available capacity (employees, machines, systems, etc.) and specified delivery dates - Moderation of team meetings - Budget responsibility for the (sub-) cost center - In consultation with the Head of Supply Chain Management: conducting employee appraisals, performance appraisals, seminar and vacation planning, processing time corrections, initiating disciplinary measures, initiating individual personnel measures, maintaining the qualification matrix, creating induction plans, processing suggestions for improvement, preparing audits, etc. - Documentation of work results and key figures, derivation/initiation/implementation of optimization measures - Supporting employees in improving their work processes - Monitoring process stability and quality, recording and eliminating causes of faults - Ensuring regular, preventive maintenance and cleaning of systems, rectifying simple technical faults and ensuring that more complex faults are rectified - Supporting Head of Supply Chain Management and project managers with improvement projects and measures by taking on individual work packages
Logistics tasks: - Control of production supply and finished material collection - Coordinate and process deliveries - Coordinate, register and track shipments - Management of indirect materials (e.g. packaging material or empties) and control of call-offs from / transfers to logistics service providers - Processing returns - Picking, packing and checking deliveries incl. ERP booking - Storing, retrieving and transferring goods incl. ERP booking - Retrieve basic material information from ERP system - Monitoring stock levels; assisting with inventories and carrying out corrections as instructed - Loading and unloading freight forwarders, incl. matching/assigning shipping documents with packages and ensuring load securing - Receiving, checking and distributing goods to the individual departments - Carrying out the production supply and collection of finished materials
Incoming Inspection tasks: - Carrying out incoming goods inspections in accordance with specifications - Collaboration in the inspection of inventories according to the error pattern catalogue - Preparing and Processing of complaints in consultation with the local Quality Managers
General tasks: - Monitoring compliance with all relevant quality specifications - Ensuring order and cleanliness in the area - Management of the shop floor meetings
Qualification: - Specialized vocational training - Several years of professional experience in logistics in an industrial company - Experience in leading a team - Proof of ability to drive industrial trucks - Basic knowledge of the English language - Knowledge of local regulations regarding occupational safety, environment, transportation safety, etc.
