Teufel seeks an experienced manager who can lead and drive our electronics team in China. Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering, you will oversee a team of skilled engineers and technicians and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to execute and optimize our EE product development process from the engineering phase to mass production. With your profound knowledge in consumer electronics, empathic approach to people, and can-do-attitude, you will be a driving force within the electronics engineering department.

What You’ll do
Lead and mentor a team of electronics and test engineers
99 Foster a high-performance culture in your team by promoting collaboration, integrity, transparency, accountability, and compassion
99 Collaborate closely with the electronics engineering team in Germany
99 Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including software, acoustics, mechanical engineering and quality assurance
99 Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in the consumer electronics industry
99 Establish strong relationships with our ODMs

What You’ll Need
Minimum Qualifications
99 BS or MS in EE or related discipline with 7+ years of relevant experience
99 leadership experience in the consumer electronics industry
99 Proven track record of developing successful consumer electronics products
99 Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
99 Experience working with ODMs/OEMs
99 Ability to effectively work in a multicultural business environment
99 Effective verbal and written communication in English and Mandarin
99 Ability to travel within China as well as internationally up to 20% of the time

Preferred Qualifications
99 Experience developing robust designs for ESD/EMI immunities and RF de-sensitization
99 Experience integrating RF technologies such as WIFI, BT, etc.
99 Experience with analog and digital signal processing
99 Experience with Embedded Software development
99 Experience with JIRA and Confluence
99 Complete understanding of manufacturing process including DFx (Design for cost, test, manufacturing) for consumer electronics products
