The Project Manager Lead will play a pivotal role in managing the Engineering Project Management (EPM) function, ensuring the seamless execution of projects from design through to the first allocation. This role is crucial in maintaining our professional partnership with 3rd party company collaborations and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. How will this role enable the team to meet its goals? 61 Lead the EPM Team: Manage the Engineering Project Management team, setting best practices and ensuring the team is well-equipped to handle the demands of new projects, particularly our ongoing partnership external partnerships 61 Project Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial design to first allocation, ensuring that all milestones are met, risks are identified, and stakeholders are effectively managed. 61 Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project development process to enhance efficiency, reduce variability, and ensure best practices are followed. 61 Risk Management: Proactively identify risk areas in project timelines and quality, raising concerns to key stakeholders and developing mitigation strategies. 61 Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external partners, ensuring clear, timely, and effective communication across all functions. 61 Performance Monitoring: Monitor ongoing project performance, addressing issues promptly, and ensuring that all details are accurately recorded and communicated using our project management tools (Wrike, Teams). 61 Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee product lifecycle management, monitoring customer experience (CX) and quality control (QC) data, and communicating any concerns to the process engineering team. ● Timely Project Delivery: All projects are completed within the agreed timelines and meet the required specifications. ● Effective Issue Resolution: Ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and quality. ● Risk Management: Proactively raise and address concerns related to project risks, ensuring that potential delays or quality issues are mitigated. ● Prioritization and Organization: Maintain a clear understanding of project priorities and manage timelines effectively, ensuring all projects are aligned with business objectives. ● Team Management: Lead the team to follow best practices across different categories, ensuring consistent and high-quality output. Hard skills: Essential ● Required Qualifications: ● Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field. ● Experience: Extensive experience in project management, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Wrike, Trello, Microsoft Project). ● Industry Knowledge: Experience in consumer product development, particularly in phone cases and wireless charging technologies. ● Leadership: Proven ability to lead a small team, fostering a culture of best practice and continuous improvement. ● Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to innovate and find solutions to meet project objectives. ● Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, particularly in data collection and analysis, to reduce variability in project outcomes. ● Desired Qualifications: ● Certification: PMP certification is a plus. ● Additional Skills: Knowledge of product lifecycle management is an advantage.
