General 1. Handle daily shipment arrangement, documentation and system posting of product orders. 2. Conduct data analysis and prepare operational reports.
Specific Responsibilities 1. Handle full set I/E documents and Bank document presentation in a timely manner independently. 2. Act as a bridge between his/her subordinate, if any, and superiors or other functional teams in business organization. 3. Supervise and manage his/her subordinates, if any, to assure that shipment jobs are done correctly and timely. 4. Build team spirit and develop his/her subordinate staff as an on-going mission. 5. Execute and monitor the enforcement of SI or SOP given to vendors or factories. 6. Daily liaison with vendors, factories, 3PLs, customers and internal departments to pursue timely goods delivery and document provision. 7. Build good relationship with service vendors and factories to pursue rapport in operation. 8. Lodge import and export declaration to local governmental authority. 9. Responsible for daily transactional posting in system and meet month end closing requirements. 10. Responsible for shipment data integrity and timeliness in system. 11. Drive to meet OTD (on time delivery) target and other KPIs set forth. 12. Perform ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by superior. 13. Bring up critical and risky operational issue to superior in time. 14. Prepare daily operation reports as required. 15. Assist manager to procure spot quote and conduct comparison assessment to support shipment fulfillment. 16. Spotlight practice change (logistics, regulation, factory etc) to superior and recommend necessary refreshment of SOP or running practice. 17. Assist Manager in compilation of SOP/SI creation or update. 18. Assist Manager in provision of logistics training to subcontracted manufacturers or others in concern. 19. Play the role of in-house trainer to assist in new staff on board training and ordinary staff development. 20. Arrange payment acquisition.
Required Skill Set 1. Experience of SAP operation preferable. 2. Good computer knowledge. 3. Hands on experience in Full set I/E documentation and bank document presentation. 4. Self-motivated, independent, responsible, able to work under pressure, positive thinking, willing to learn and progress along career path. 5. Good presentation skills and logical mindset. 6. Good command in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken).
Required Qualifications & Experience 1. Degree holder in Logistics Management or other related discipline. 2. 3 – 5 years' relevant trade experience; worked in Hard Toys Trading/ Buying Office or EMS / FMCG industry most preferable. 3. Experience in L/C presentation preferable. 4. Basic knowledge in international shipping a must. 5. Knowledge in local I/E formality a must. 6. Knowledge in Toys Import formality of buyer countries overseas an asset (esp China). 7. Knowledge in China import customs formality an asset (for China stationed post only).
