Education, Technical Qualification & Experience:
61 Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field
61 Fluent in spoken and written English
61 10+ years of sourcing experience in the machining field, familiar with tooling, stamping, molding, plating, diecasting & machining……
61 5 years’ Experience working in a global/region commodity role in a multinational company.
61 10 year’s people management experience
61 Engineering background is advantageous.
61 Proficiency in office software; Familiarity with SAP
Reports To: Directly reports to Global commodity Director and will be responsible for managing and Leading the procurement of mechanical parts, including molding, stamping, die casting, machining, tooling, and dies.

Major Responsibilities:
61 Develop commodity strategies aligned with business objectives.
61 Monitor global market trends, supply-demand dynamics, and geopolitical factors.
61 Mitigate risks related to commodity price fluctuations.
61 Identify and develop new suppliers in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
61 Optimize the supplier base to enhance efficiency and quality.
61 Conduct RFQs for NPI (New Product Introduction) projects.
61 Negotiate master purchasing contracts, Quality Assurance agreements, Non-disclosure agreements, consignment contracts, etc., with suppliers.
61 Drive cost reduction initiatives through comprehensive cost analysis, market data evaluation, and negotiation.
61 Collaborate with engineering teams to lead Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) projects.
61 Coordinate cross-functional efforts to achieve project KPIs including savings, lead time reduction, minimum order quantity optimization, dual sourcing, and localization.
61 Lead quarterly supplier scorecard reviews to improve supplier performance in quality, delivery, and cost.
61 Identify risks, opportunities, and underperforming suppliers; implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and ensure continuous improvement.
61 Collaborate with plant teams as necessary.
