1. Manage style costing information accuracy and provide cost analysis results to relevant teams (e.g., developers, headquarters counterparts), while actively exploring cost-saving opportunities without compromising the integrity of the design and product features. 2. Review material consumption accuracy and utilization efficiency by using domain knowledge and required software. 3. Collaborate with product developers and engineers to develop a pattern library for cost analysis purposes. 4. Analyse and negotiate product costs with factories. 5. Evaluate and negotiate material and component pricing with suppliers. 6. Execute costing routine process, system data maintenance. 7. Communicate with headquarters counterparts on product costing-related matters. 8. Bilaterally communicate with the other teams to drive cost saving opportunities and capture benefits.
Requirements/Experience:
1. College or above, communicable oral English. 2. Over 5 years of relevant experience in the footwear factory with at least 3 years of experience in costing. Proficient in leather cutting and efficient pattern interlocking. Experience in a branded company is preferred. 3. Good communication and problem-solving skills. 4. Good knowledge of footwear product constructions. 5. Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, as well as product cost analysis and negotiation skills, with the ability to maintain well-balanced partnerships. 6. Proficient in MS Office tools: Word, Excel (especially Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, Formula), PowerPoint, and Usage software such as Rising Star or other related software.
