POSITION TITLE: Merchandiser

ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
Merchandiser assists management by coordinating development and pre-production activities promptly and effectively, in accordance with deadlines set up by the business.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Include but not limited to
83 Collect sample order from the US or Kontoor Asia, then produce the garment sample and export to the customers.
83 Consolidate and corporate internal production and washing process to maintain good quality, and keep up with targeted lead time for all development samples.
83 Review the samples to ensure they are production-friendly in the final bulk garment maker.
83 Translate English PDM to Chinese workbook. Pass to production within standard lead time and clarify with the US if there is any discrepancy on the development sheet.
83 Work out the initial cost in the development stage for each style and ensure to get closer to bulk cost.
83 Follow up the bulk standard and meet the approval deadline provided by the Kontoor Asia team.
83 Check fabric and trims inventory timely and replenish if necessary, to actual and potential need.
83 Work with the production team & washing team to achieve the requested delivery date.
83 Monitor production progress as per schedule.
83 Monitor desired/imposed quality level of produced garment by inspecting rigid before sending to laundry and checked finished garment before shipping to the US/Kontoor Aisa.
83 Provide development package to Asia team for bulk costing, and ensure PDM up to date.

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
Include but not limited to
83 4 years of relevant working experience in the garment industry.
83 Familiar with garment development and bulk production processes, be able to identify check points to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
83 Konwledge on garment, preferablely with jeanswear.
83 Strong communication skills, proactive, with problem solving skills.
83 Good command of oral and written English.
83 Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, such as Word, Excel, PPT and Outlook.

83 College Degree or above

跟踪批量标准，并满足康拓亚洲团队提供的批准截止日期。
根据实际和潜在需求，及时检查面料和辅料库存，并及时补充。
与生产团队和洗涤团队合作，完成要求的交货日期。
按计划监控生产进度。
通过在送去洗衣店前检查服装的刚性和在运往美国/中国香港或亚洲之前检查成品服装，监控生产服装的期望/强制质量水平。
为亚洲团队提供批量成本的开发包，并确保PDM的更新。

我们需要你具备的素质：
包括但不限于
4年服装行业相关工作经验。
熟悉服装开发和批量生产流程，能够识别检查点以确保质量和准时交货。
有服装知识，有牛仔裤经验者优先。
良好的沟通能力，积极主动，具有解决问题的能力。
良好的英语听说读写能力。
·熟练使用Word、Excel、PPT、Outlook等Office办公软件。
