Job Description: 1. Provide advice and guidance to supporting units in completion of risk and control assessment process. 2. To review and monitor the key controls are properly designed and operated in adherence with group policies and/or regulatory requirement. 3. To lead and design of the control monitoring plans and being independent role from supporting unit. 4. To support operation units in designing and establishing effective governance structure and processes. 5. To Promote Risk and Compliance culture by embedding risk management elements and considerations into day-to-day operations. 6. To monitor the compliance related training status according to Bank standard. 7. To perform analysis of operations incidents to identify common themes or negative trend. Review and monitor the implementation of rectification plans. 8. To manage the team and oversight overall capacity, process which also includes resources and resilience support. 9. To communicate and coordinate with operation units on AML related issues. 10. To establish and implement communication and training plan to foster risk and compliance culture for department and branches such as regular refresher training and forum. 11. To comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity. 12. To adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work. 13. To take up ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirement: University graduate; OR Minimum of 5 years’ experience in banking sector cover the following: ● At least 3 years’ experience at managerial / supervisory role; ● Sound knowledge and exposure in AML or compliance related issues; ● Familiar with relevant bank policies, procedures, practices and rules; ● Good communication skill and risk awareness; ● PC literate with good knowledge of MS Office; ● Good command of both spoken and written English and Cantoness ● Holder of professional qualification(s) of AAMLP and CAMS is preferable.
