Business Function Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Roles & Responsibilities · Responsible for analysis and documentation of business requirements · Understand data and identify key relationships across tables, combine/join tables and prepare mapping sheets. · Help business draw inferences, guide developers in designing the solution. · To ensure the business requirements are well captured, should be driving the functional requirements and play the role of a subject matter expert, be able to explain the team how product works, and share the experience and best practice; should assist in preparation of business cases, use cases and data profiling results to business users. · Prepare projections on impact of enhancement using past analytical data. · Liaise with project users to map existing business processes end to end, starting with front end customer facing functions, ending with data and system specifications as well as screens. · Identify improvement areas in the existing processes and technical design. · Coordinate with Technology and Business users to plan and test for production cutover. · Document user narratives (stories) in agile methodology. Strategically assess requirements. Document context, purpose, pre-requisites, dependencies, narratives with expected results. Guide development and testing teams and enforce project standards. · Prioritize and streamline user stories, assess impact of unexpected changes in the scope. · Work in an agile approach and follow the scrum rituals. · Work experience on Bigdata environment and SQL, OLAP SQL
Requirements · 4+ years’ hands on Business Analysis and Data Analysis experience in Consumer Banking & Data Warehouse Analytics related enhancements. · Hands on experience as a business analyst with understanding of functional/domain knowledge and data. · Good knowledge of consumer banking products and related front-end / middle office / back-end processes. · Excellent understanding of technology life cycles and the concepts and practices required to implement effective information systems. · Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Projects, Visio, Word · Experience in using testing tools, preferably HP QC. · Familiar with Data Warehouse concepts. · Good in preparing Data Mapping documents and Data Profiling Analysis. · Good Knowledge and experience in Teradata or Big Data or Oracle or SQL Server is a plus.
