Duties and responsibilities EDB Compliance and Policy - Ensure the school is managed in accordance with the law and regulations of mainland China - Attend the EDB moral education related meetings and report to EDB on annual inspection, ensure the reports and school standards adhere to the requirements of EDB - Lead the internal moral education inspections and implementation of improvement plan. - Produce and update of all related policies and documentation. - Prepare EDB required reports including but not limited to moral education, anti-bullying, anti-drug abuse, traditional culture promotion, volunteer activities. Parents Communication - Assist the Deputy Head Moral Education to liaise with parents and outside agencies, as appropriate, thereby developing positive relationships with the outside community. - Participate in the orientation and induction process of new staff by introducing policies and practices. - Contribute to the collection and dissemination of all information relating to the School for the purposes of marketing and communication.
Student Management - Assist the Deputy Head Moral Education to maintain and enhance the quality of the School’s system of moral education. - Assist in EDB related actives on the eight societies of moral education: Moral Education, Family Education, Homeroom Teacher, Mental Health, Youth League, Young Pioneers, Legal Education, Research and Practice. - Coordinate the flag raising ceremony and community, school and governmental partnerships, and community service. - Support school activities and build up the moral education required elements into the system including educational trips throughout the year. - Support Deputy Head Moral Education to enhance student performance. Track students’ progress and supporting in the monitoring, supporting, encouraging and disciplining of students.
Qualifications and experience required - Bachelor’s degree or above in pedagogy, teacher education or related majors. - 3 years or above experience in moral education management, preferably in K12 teaching field. - Strong sense of responsibility, good team spirit, independent thinking, innovative thinking and consciousness. - Good logical thinking and learning ability.
