Summary Reporting to Director, Supply Chain Planning, the Inventory Manager will lead a team of analyst(s) to manage, tracking and optimize supply chain OKR of minimizing inventory OOS and Overstock, Excess and Obsolete, to achieve higher inventory turns and inventory accuracy.
By driving process improvements and generating actionable insights, the Inventory Manager ensures the company's inventory is efficiently managed to support business objectives. This position requires strong leadership skills, strong presentation skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of inventory management processes. Responsibilities 1.Collaborate cross-functionally with technology, finance, demand, and supply teams, including planning, purchasing, warehouse, and logistics, to understand business needs and demand drivers. 2. Develop and communicate comprehensive inventory strategies and processes that align with departmental plans, inventory targets, and overall business objectives. 3. Generate regular reports, identify trends, and present findings to stakeholders. 4. Utilize reports and analytics to provide recommendations that support business strategy and goals. 5. Recommend appropriate stock levels, safety stock, and replenishment plans for each category. 6. Conduct ad-hoc analyses and problem-solving to uncover insights that inform strategic decisions and identify optimization opportunities. Qualifications 1. Over 10 years of experience in supply chain operations, project management, and data analysis. 2. Bachelor’s degree or higher in supply chain management, engineering, mathematics, finance, or economics. 3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of SQL is a plus. 4. Familiarity with technology hardware planning and operations. 5. Strong understanding of inventory management principles and systems. 6. Experience in inventory modeling and supply chain management concepts, including forecasting, planning, optimization, and regression analysis. 7. Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills, capable of synthesizing and drawing conclusions from large datasets. 8. Excellent business judgment with strong written and verbal communication, and presentation skills in English; adept at managing multiple priorities effectively. 9. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a self-motivated and proactive attitude. 10. Critical thinking and problem solving, self-motivation and can-do attitude with a collaborative approach. 11. Relevant professional certification is a plus (e.g., APICS, CSCP, CPIM or ISM-SCP)
