岗位职责: Job Title: Intern (Social Media and Event Planning) 实习生 (新媒体运营与活动策划) Department: Training Center, Office of Knowledge Transfer, HKUST (GZ) Job ID: Introduction to Training Center The Training Center at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) coordinates and oversees all training and continuing professional development opportunities and activities for the university. Through our courses, programs, facilities, unique innovation ecosystem, and most importantly our people, we help leaders and innovators adapt to a world of accelerating change and empower them to leverage future tech for socio-economic impact. The training center work in partnership with individuals, teams, and enterprises to build capacity, develop capability, and create opportunities to enable innovation. Job Posting Details The appointee will provide support to the Office of Knowledge Transfer -Training Center of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) (HKUST (GZ)). Major responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 1. Leverage existing non-degree training knowledge and publications, and adapt them into engaging, attractive, and useful content products tailed to target audience; 2. Produce high-quality contents in English and/or Chinese bilingual by interviewing faculty members/organizations/trainees and interpreting their illustrations; 3. Assist with the development and distribution of press releases for training programs, conferences, and other events. And assist with media outreach and follow-up to secure coverage for events; 4. Assist program team to manage online media platforms, e.g. WeChat, and website; 5. Support the creation of visual content for social media, website, and marketing materials, e.g. the design and production of company souvenirs and promotional items; 6. Support the logistics and operations of events, including set-up, breakdown, and on-site coordination; 7. Assist in the translation of documents and publications from English to Chinese and vice versa, for communication purposes; 8. Other ad hoc duties assigned by the supervisor; 任职要求: Requirements 1. Currently enrolled in a University; 2. Studying in Marketing, Entrepreneurship/Business Management, Media/Communications/Journalism, and equivalent subjects is preferred; 3. Previous internships in marketing/media and/or think tanks will be an asset; 4. Excellent business writing and editorial skills in Chinese is a must; 5. Proficiency in English, both speaking and writing; 6. A profound interest in journalism, new trends in technology, business and elsewhere; 7. Knowledge in photography, photo-editing, and video-editing will be an advantage; 8. Self-driven, can-do, eager-to-learn and details-oriented attitudes; 9. Commitment of at least 3 days/week for at least 6 months.
