Primary Responsibilities

● With the understanding of Assortment concept and customer as well as strategy and goals, you support to the material manager identify the right suppliers in order to maintain a sustainable T2 supplier base.
● Market research: Collect information on new products, new materials, new technologies, new processes, competitive products, consumers and other information, Selected and present the best innovation to the design team.
● You are responsible to support the material manager for educating and developing suppliers in the product flow in terms of capabilities growth, complexity level, and ensuring alignment on customer understanding towards self-reliance.
● You are updated and follow sustainability trends, innovations and quality closely global market input.Identify & develop new components (including fabrics, yarn, treatments,trims) always with sustainability as top of mind
● Ensure material libraries are maintained and aligned globally according to the Assortment strategy.
● Keep Centric systems updated with all relevant information and price connected to components
● Together with development team - communicate and ensure a transparent component strategy, where full global team is updated and aligned. Following the Proto sample material status and ensure the material ship to T1 on time, following with the QA and T2 to ensure the material test meet Wilson requirements

Required Skills, Experience & Competencies

● Demonstrated Prior to Assuming Position
● Bachelor degree or above, major in textile engineering, textile material and textile design, textile fabric design;
● 6 years or above material research and development, fabric product research and development and production industry experience;
● System development and design theory, basic knowledge and practical operation technology, familiar with textile materials, textile fabric basic structure and production process and other aspects of professional knowledge;
● Cheerful and positive personality, with good ability to analyze and solve problems.
● Good command of written and spoken English & Mandarin.
● Familiar with Photoshop, Illustrator, and MS Office.
