Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on IT Project Manager with at least 10 years of experience to lead a large digital finance project with a very tight timeline. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing agile methodologies and JIRA while effectively collaborating with multiple stakeholders, including vendors. Experience working in financial multinational companies is a significant plus. The candidate must demonstrate excellent ownership, a readiness to tackle challenges, a helpful attitude, trustworthiness, and the ability to provide exceptional transparency in all aspects of the project. Key Responsibilities - Project Leadership: Oversee and manage a large-scale digital finance project, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scope under tight deadlines. - Agile Management: Implement and manage Agile methodologies to enhance project execution and responsiveness to changing requirements. - JIRA Utilization: Utilize JIRA for project tracking, sprint planning, and backlog management to maintain project transparency and accountability. - Vendor Management: Actively engage and push vendors to adhere to project timelines, ensuring they meet deliverables and maintain quality standards. - Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including team members, vendors, and upper management, to define project goals and deliverables. - Risk Identification: Proactively identify risks and develop logical mitigation strategies to ensure project success. - Effective Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders regarding project status, challenges, and changes. - Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and present detailed project documentation, reports, and updates to management and stakeholders. - Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement among team members. - Ownership and Transparency: Take full ownership of project outcomes, demonstrate a proactive approach to challenges, and ensure transparency throughout the project lifecycle. - Detail Orientation: Exhibit exceptional attention to detail, ensuring all project aspects are meticulously managed and executed.
Qualifications - Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. - Project Management Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience managing large-scale IT projects, particularly in digital finance, under tight timelines. - Agile Expertise: Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and hands-on experience with JIRA. - Communication Skills: Excellent command of English, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information. - Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively in high-pressure environments. - Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceptional logical reasoning. - Problem Solver: Proactive and resourceful approach to challenges with a positive, can-do attitude. - Multinational Experience: Experience working in financial multinational companies is a significant plus. - Trustworthiness: Ability to build trust with stakeholders and provide transparency in all project activities.
