The Position The Regional Supply Planner Specialist reports to the Regional Lead and he/she is a primary contact in Regional Supply Planning for the assigned portfolio that consists of product families and/or external node(s) in the supply chain for the region. The Regional Supply Planner - Specialist is responsible for the Supply Chain Operational Planning and Execution of API, Bulk and Semi Finish Goods to maintain the targeted supply to our customers and patients Leveraging the IBP governance, he/she understands the volume and constraint implications to internal and external sites in the supply network for the assigned portfolio. He/She proactively addresses, mitigates, and resolves the current and potential regional supply issues from short term up to 36 months horizon often in cooperation with various stakeholders such as Global E2E Planners, Site Planners, Focus Factory (FFT) Lead, Demand Fulfillment, and 3rd party Customers. The Region Supply Planning – Specialist works closely with Global Supply Planning team, Portfolio Management team and ExM / Strategic Alliance team to support brand strategies and projects (for example: New Product Launch, Network Transfer and Portfolio Optimization). As part of Regional Supply Management Organization, the Regional Supply Planning Specialist contributes to the optimization of the supply chain metrics. The Regional Supply Planning Specialist deals with complexity, he/she applies knowledge and skills to his/her daily work and can take decisions jointly or independently. He/she contributes to the planning organization Responsibilities Primary activities include, but are not limited to: Supply Chain Management & Operational Execution - Responsible for an assigned portfolio with regional scope and respective manufacturing and packaging sites and 3rd party customers (Internal and/or external sites). The portfolio complexity is assigned in line with the Job level and expertise, and it is based on different variables (such as number of skus, number of nodes in the supply chains, complexity of the CMOs managed, revenue, strategical products, ongoing projects) - Responsible for the planning activities of assigned portfolio and ensure accurate generation of requirements across the respective supply chain nodes in the region. - Actively develop scenarios to prevent, avoid and support the resolution of supply issues and potential constraints in the region in collaboration with the Global Planner. - Responsible for Exception Management for the assigned portfolio - Escalation Management: effective communication flow and escalation in Tier process, using team huddles and SCEM tool (Supply Chain Escalation Management). Active participation in the appropriate Tier level meetings. - Responsible for Order Management activities for internal/ external sites, including 3rd party customers. - Provide 36 months 3rd party customers FC to Japan Finance team. - Forecast submission to 3rd party customers. - Review and maintenance of Master Data of Planning parameters in the regional plants. - Regional Inventory Management in collaboration with the Global Planner (Inventory planning, Days of Coverage (DOC)) - Inventory Reconciliation - Inventory of Questionable Value (IQV), out of stocks, inventory health at regional nodes, RSL monitoring - Collaborate and manage various stakeholders such as Global E2E Planners, Demand Fulfillment, Site planners, FFT lead, Finance and Procurement. - Perform virtual planning movements (PGI, OBD, GR) - Logistics/Shipment coordination (provide documents, trigger invoice for shipment, POC when shipping documentation is faulty), manage samples & one-off shipments. IBP - Actively participate, provide inputs, and represent the Regional Planning team for their respective portfolio in the IBP meetings and External Manufacturing platform meetings - Support Profit planning and Volume planning from regional perspective. - Work with Global Supply Planner to support allocation management in case of unbalanced demand and supply. Brand Strategy - Support Strategic Initiatives/Projects related to supply planning workstream in the region. - Contribute to Network Changes/Transfers, and responsible for the supply chain deployment of the changes/transfers in collaboration with the Global Planner and Product Source Management (PSM) if assigned. - System disentanglement processes (Artwork mgmt., stability, Bill of Material (BOM) alignment Product Lifecycle Management (Launch / Discontinuation) - Support of BD deals and clinical supplies if required. - Site Relationship Management Metrics optimization and continuous improvement - Contribute to explanation of misses for the established metrics such as LIFR, Plan Attainment/Volume attainment, Inventory/DOC, IQV Management and reporting. - Support continuous improvement activities. 任职资格: Problem Solving: Intermediate – Able to identify what went wrong and determine how to correct the problem for operations continuity. Ability to Influence: Basic – Able to influence within and beyond SCM at peer level for optimal outcomes on solutions / risks / opportunities Leadership: Intermediate – Able to participate in projects driving improvements within SCM function Coaching: Basic – Able to coach new peers in Regional Fulfillment and Supply Planning Required Education, Experience and Skills: - Bachelor's degree (preferred) - Fresh Graduate may apply. - APICS CPIM or CSCP certification highly desirable - Minimum 1 ~ 5 years of related experience in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing environment or related production industry experience required. - Related experience in managing with multiple planning (ERP) systems and interfaces. - Related experience in metric reporting environment - A strong team player with excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills and ability to operate in a matrix environment - Strong problem solving and resolution skills - Strong analytical and presentation skills - Keen driver for process improvement - Deep understanding of Business dynamics and Supply Chain - Excellent attention to detail.
