Within the E&C Asia Q/HSES-PRM function, the aim of the Asia IMS&Continuous Improvement Manager role is to be the responsible person for developing and maintaining the Subsidiary industrial management system program on behalf of the Subsidiary Managing Directors in different Asia centers and to ensure the way we work together is highly effective to increase our operational competitiveness, reduce the wastes, and increase the value we create for our customers.
For C-IMP scope:
Develop Continuous Improvement culture within the E&C centers in Asian region (E&C China-HGZ/SHA/YNT, Beijing Lurgi, E&C Kobe, E&C Singapore, etc.) according to the AL Group’s C-IMP initiative, make sure employees and management are aware of the methodology and adapt to C-IMP culture
Ensure the efficient application of AL Group common C-IMP tools and methods
Facilitate Process improvement workshops for varied topics of all applicable functions
Organize, conduct and follow:
C-IMP Mindset for Managers to develop the Daily Performance Management (DPM) culture
Awareness Serious Game (ASG) for employees and managers to ensure their engagement
Other C-IMP trainings to employees and the management when need
Train C-IMP Leaders/local contacts/key contributors on C-IMP Basics & coach them until they are qualified and capable of implementing the methods for continuous improvement activities
Propose and encourage the identification of Customers’ and business’ pain points, facilitate the waste identification and problem solving activities
Develop and follow-up the annual C-IMP road map for the E&C Asia centers
Coordinate all activities regarding improvement projects within the E&C Asia centers, starting from the budget allocation, progress follow up until project close out.
Other tasks regarding to C-IMP methodology and methods implementation assigned by the management
For IMS Scope:
ensures that Subsidiary industrial management system processes, and their interactions, are defined,
set and maintains up-to-date the Subsidiary process map,
develops and maintains a Subsidiary industrial management system compliant with IMS Group Procedures (IMS_GPs),
alert the Managing Director of any potential nonconformity with the compatibility matrix and process perimeter, and reporting rules,
ensures that Subsidiary documented information is consistent and complies with IMS_GPs,
ensures that an IMS training program is in place,
ensures that myIMS - Processes is regularly updated in terms of processes and their owners, as well as process self-assessments,
leads initiatives aimed at continually improving the Subsidiary industrial management system.
The IMS Manager is also the Process Owner representative in myIMS - Processes for IMS_GP00 and IMS_GP16
Requirement:
Thorough knowledge of methodologies of Continuous Improvement and Air Liquide Industrial Management System
Industrial operations, industrial audit, HSE or Process Risk management.
System management experience is a plus
Good knowledge of the Subsidiary organization, industrial operations and related risks.
Knowledge of process risk management fundamentals.
Understanding of applicable laws and regulations.
Strong aptitude for analysis and understanding of business process, and passion of C-IMP
5 years or more experience in Engineering, Operations or Manufacturing
English skills: understanding of texts that contain function-related language (notably the Group IMS documents), verbal communication allowing him/her to exchange on function-related matters.
Mastering of the Subsidiary official language(s).
Solid office software / IT skills
Engineering, quality/project management or related major graduates or above
