Reporting to Global Laboratory Manager, you as Sr. Test Engineer will be responsible for test equipment set-up, software development, hardware-software integration, test execution, documentation and communicating results with internal and external customers. About the job: 61 Supports Engineering, Operations and Sales in terms of design verification, process validation, applications and customer-driven tests that leads to new and/or improved products, design wins and increased revenue 61 Manage engineering work performed by Engineers and Technicians and provide assistance and guidance when needed 61 Develops the required test setups and executes needed tests. Develops and acquires new characterization methods to improve accuracy, efficiency and quality of data needed 61 Improves test procedures using hardware and software tools such as VEE, LabWindows, Visual Basic, and others to speed-up testing or data collection and analysis 61 Communicates test results to internal and external customers 61 Identifies and recommends new lab equipment, new tools, and procedure improvements to the Laboratory Manager 61 Complies to safety, quality and regulatory standards. Ensures the test equipment are in good working condition that includes calibration, periodic maintenance and availability of consumables required to operate equipment.
About you: 61 MS or BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent 61 7+ years of experience in Test Engineering in electronics and/or semiconductor industry with experience in design and assembly of test equipment in a production or laboratory environment. 61 Ideally experienced in testing a wide variety of devices such as switches, fuses, PTC, electromechanical devices, semiconductors and other components. 61 Good oral and written communication skills in the local as well as English languages. 61 Solid programming skills in a visual language (such as VEE, LabWindows, Visual Basic, Visual C, C/C++) demonstrated by coursework or practical experience. 61 Solid understanding of analog/digital electronics, circuit protection devices, and discrete semiconductors. Basic knowledge of GPIB or test equipment control via PC. 61 Ability to operate well independently or as a team member in a fast-paced environment. 61 Able to handle complex problems efficiently by utilizing available or new tools.
