Primary Purpose of the Position: Lead and conduct tire modeling and computer simulation to help team’s design choices and predict tire performances to meet customer’s technical targets.
Responsibilities: 1 Develop new products tire following design standards, according to priorities and performance objectives agreed on and using experimental as well as predictive approaches. 2 Learn, understand and apply the Global Design standards, best practices and Release Process. 3 Identify and Communicate any process and tool improvement items. 4 Ensure product conformity to internal, external and legal standards. 5 Identify, communicate, and lead any guidelines/standards & best practices improvement items. 6 Coach others on guidelines/standards and best practices.
Requirements: 1 Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics or any related fields is required (Master’s degree in engineering, physics or any related fields is desired) 2 Computer design and modeling experience (catia V5, abaqus, solidworks…) with finite element analysis (FEA) experience desired 3 Product Design Experience desired. 4 Knowledge in Statistical tools (minitab…), basic programing (VBA) is an asset 5 MS Office (World, Excel, Power Point). 6 Ability to define and execute projects within a muti-cultural team.
