Summary
The Supply Chain Leader is a member of the Supply Chain APAC organization at Regional level. He/she is part of the Project Team and respond to the Project Manager being accountable for Supply Chain activities and Materials and Service procurement related to project execution.
Duties and Responsibilities
He/she is responsible to integrate and coordinate the project lifecycle phases in compliance with the Comau business processes and functions departments. 61 Follow assigned platform/projects with accountability of Supply Chain activities and Materials and Service procurement related to project execution; 61 Provide accurate forecast for baseline budgeting (time and cost), planning, and periodical update based on project needs; 61 Executes according to Supply Chain Purchasing/Commodities global/regional strategies (make/buy – job sharing).
Main areas of responsibilities are: 61 Proposal Phase (from M225 to M1000) Support the Supply Chain team in critical/strategic projects: o to define Job Sharing and Make/Buy strategies during Proposal phase, particularly to inform and involve the commodity leaders about all relevant information to design and update the commodity strategy; o support Proposal phase procuring all missing strategic info/cost data to perform M230; o develop full scale project master schedule - with respect to Supply Chain and Purchasing deliverables
61 Execution Phase (from M1000 forward) o Establish Project Baseline Timing of Supply Chain and Purchasing Activities – Develop the project master schedule and the detailed project schedule o Monitor and provide the Project Manager with detailed schedule updates for Supply Chain and Purchasing Activities; o Adhere to defined Project Milestones related to Supply Chain and Purchasing Activities; o Provides accurate forecast for the Project Baseline Cost o Support the Project Manager with relevant information to determine the Estimate to Complete (ETC) o Responsible for project performance communication related to Supply Chain and Purchasing Activities in Project Reviews for Country and Regional portfolios - Compiling monthly data for monthly project reviews o Manage variances to budget and collaborates with Project Management Team to effectively balance financial impacts to program results. o Design the Project Sourcing Plan (PSP) comprehensive of the Supplier Quality needs, ensuring its robustness and feasibility consistently with the Project Make/Buy strategy. o Release and update the PSP to Manufacturing, Purchasing & Supplier Quality for materials and services; o Is responsible to design and manage the Purchasing Project Sourcing Plan (PPSP) as per project needs and based on commodities inputs and agreed purchasing project strategies o Support within the Project Management Team the definition of the Engineering Change Management plans o Ensure that the project schedules accurately reflect the Scope of Work for the project in accordance with the agreed Work Breakdown Structure and effectively enable project progress monitoring for all related Supply Chain activities o Ensure and support the timely availability of inputs (RFQ documentation) for the execution of the PSP o Track project deliverables using appropriate tools/ Establishing and managing the appropriate project reporting structure. o Facilitating recovery planning meetings with project teams/ Managing information and recommendation to facilitate tactical plans and reviews. o Ensure within the Project Team the respect of corporate sourcing policy and procedures.
Knowledge & Skills

Qualifications
● Education : o Qualification in Supply Chain Management and Project Management (APICS and PMI certifications will be considered a plus). ● Previous experiences o Minimum of 3-5 years of Supply Chain, Manufacturing and/or Purchasing experience. o Experience in a multi-national engineering company preferably within an Engineer-to-Order (ETO) business environment. ● Languages o Advanced written and spoken English
