Job Overview
We seek a highly skilled and motivated Equipment Maintenance Engineer to oversee the upkeep of critical industrial equipment across Asia. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in machinery troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and operational efficiency improvement. This role involves regular travel within Asia, including extended assignments in China, and requires fluency in both English and Mandarin.
Job description
* Provide customers with standard equipment and automation equipment installation, commissioning, trial production
* Equipment installation, parameter setting, testing, pilot production and functional improvement in the factory
* Document maintenance activities and update technical records
* Train junior technicians and local staff (distributor) on maintenance procedures
* Manage inventory of spare parts and tool
Job requirements
* Minimum 3+ years in equipment maintenance, preferably in manufacturing, consumer electronics manufacturing, automotive electronics, automotive industries
* Proven expertise in PLC systems, or CNC machinery (prior experience with similar Asian market conditions is a plus)
* Advanced knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and troubleshooting methodologies
* Proficiency in using diagnostic tools
* Fluent in English and Mandarin (Technical Documentation & Communication & Daily Operations & Local Collaboration)
* Willing to travel extensively across Asia (frequency: 40-60% of the time)
* Able to work in China for 3-6 months consecutively per assignment
* Openness to relocate within Asia based on project needs
