Manage the inbound and supply flow of goods to achieve targets for service availability, increased turnover, and allocated capital to ensure the correct stock levels in global warehouses to enable delivery to end customers.
Assortment management: Responsible for phasing in or out items in collaboration with other departments. New parts: Prepare and ensure sufficient stock buildup for new items. Enter item parameters into the system (e.g., supplier, contract, lead time). Replacements: Manage the transition between old and new items to avoid shortages or overstock in global warehouses. Scrapping old stock: Initiate scrapping for unused items and ensure replacements are available if needed. Propose improvements to the assortment and connect these to activities, discussing them quarterly with the Group Manager. Create and maintain KPI’s
Supplier relation management : Preparing renegotiations with suppliers regarding quality, reliability, lead times, and deliveries. Onboard suppliers to Scania requirements and way of working Act as the primary contact for: o Deviations in deliveries. o Supplier-caused discrepancies. o Shipments claimed by suppliers to have been sent but not received. Maintain relationships with suppliers through visits or invitations Monitor invoice discrepancies, analyze their origin, and address them. Handle insurance claims
Campaigns : Collaborate with customer service on market inputs related to exceptional demands for campaigns. Prepare and process these exceptional demands in the forecast system, ensuring adequate stock.
Customer relation management-Market monitoring Monitor mid-term issues for assigned markets, including: o Preparing planning and control sheets o Preparing for and actively participating in market meetings Review irregularities in orders and deliveries, including backorder tracking. Keep track of all market-related changes. Perform preparatory work for customer meetings or analyses as required.
Coordination of Operational Transport Flow (Inbound) Monitor daily transport planning, identify and record deviations, adjust, resolve, and escalate when necessary. Organize urgent or special transports, including negotiating prices. Act as the point of contact for departments (e.g., Scania O.I. central planning departments, SPC) regarding ad hoc inquiries and changes in the transport flow. Collaborate with transport coordinators from production units to build a uniform working method and structural cooperation.
