Purpose of the position Area category specialist is responsible for developing category sourcing plan, coordinating sourcing efforts and manage cost competitivenss of indirect within an Area. Categories managed at Area level are ,Fabilities,IT,Equipment and tools, TPE, Travel and other general service contracts,ect.
Responsibilities and key activities required 1. Be responsible for the procurement of non-production materials(such as office suppliers, euqipment, services, etc.) Develop procurement plans and execute them according to the procurement applications from the demand departments to ensure that the materials are delivered on time, with the right quality and quantity. 2. Develop and maintain supplier resources, establish and improve the supplier information database, regularly assess and rate suppliers, optimize the supplier structure and reduce procurement risks 3. Conduct procurement cost analysis, put forward cost optimization suggestions and implment them to achieve the company's procurement cost goals. 4. Manage the supplier contract, handle the contract changes, breaches and other matters to protect the legitimate right and interest of the company 5. Deeply understand business needs and procurement expectations, provide professional procurement advise and sugestion, avoid waster of resources and over-budget procurement. 6. Coordinate and cooperate accross department. Work collaboratively with finance, legal and warehousing departs to sure the smooth follow of procurement process and solve problem 7. Support procurement's digital transformation

Other competences required in the position Competence & qualification requirement: 1. Proven expereince in strategic sourcing and category management, More than 3 years relevenant experience. 2. Good communication in both Chinese and English to manage internal/external iterfaces with various cultural backgrounds 3. Ability to understand the organization's strategic direction and align indirect procurement startegies to achieve company objectives 4. Strong logic thinking, open-minded, team work-oriented
