Research, develop, and test new materials used to create a range of products and will be responsible for analyzing the structure and properties of various materials (metals, polymers, ceramics, composites), ensuring their suitability for specific engineering applications, and contributing to product and process development.

83 61 Select appropriate materials for specific engineering designs or applications.
83 61 Work with cross-functional teams to integrate materials into product development.
83 61 Develop and test prototypes and materials samples in laboratory settings.
83 61 Investigate material failures and recommend improvements or alternatives.
83 61 Ensure materials and processes comply with industry standards and regulations.
83 61 Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to optimize materials usage and cost.
83 61 Document and report technical data and research findings.
83 61 Stay updated with technological advancements in materials science and engineering.

Qualifications (Education/Knowledge/Working Experience)

61 More than 5 years of experience as material engineer or similar role
