To be customer technical interface, responsible for transmission E-Actuator product system boundary definition, product specifications. Lead system D-FMEA, validation test and problem solving activities.
Responsibilities 1. Responsible for system level application and technology development management of transmission E-Actuator systems, including decoupling/shifting/disconnect systems with DC/BLDC/Solenoid actuators. 2. Be responsible for system boundary definition ( system with actuator + mechanism), and system product performance target definition. 3. Be responsible for system level technical development document input, system design scheme approval and node deliverables. 4. Responsible for D-FMEA of the system; Preparation of verification plan for assembly product test DV / PV; 5. Communicate with customers for requirements analysis, make adaptation calculation and layout, define system control law to meet system dynamic performance, define product specifications. 6. Communicate with customers to confirm problem solving scenarios and make technical agreements. 7. Responsible for the promotion and application of system products.
Education/Training - Engineering degree and knowledge of powertrain products, specialty in motor control engineering strongly plus - Personal skills to cooperate with functional organization - Valeo development Policy, methodology or similar
Professional Experience - Familiar with the design of the DC/BLDC/Solenoid actuator, shifting or disconnect system products - At least 3 years working experiences in E-actuators products, from international company preferred - Proficiency in transmission or eDrive products, include the gearbox boundary, shifting/disconnector interface and so on. - Proficiency in design tolerance analysis and technical documentation (drawings, specifications, etc.) - Proficiency in validation methodology and being able to make evaluations for mechanical design and product performance (power, efficiency, NVH...). - Experienced in people communication with customers and internal functional teams - Defect management - Basic knowledge of configuration management - Experience in the automotive industry is a plus, particularly with regard to electric drive train technology - Basic English communication skills
