Transport & Materials Logistics, is a part of Scania Logistics’ Regional Material Control (RMC) setup.

RMC Nordic, RMC Central Europe, RMC Latin America and RMC China are responsible for the inbound flows (Transport and Material Control processes) to all global production units at Scania.

This is a vital function to our operational teams and Scania’s logistics organization with focus on maintaining production.

Running with highest quality and lowest cost. The team have a wide responsibility, but main tasks consist of the following:

Coordinate all deliveries from both local and far-off suppliers to China production system.

Coordinate transport network from both local and far-of suppliers to China production system

Guarantee weekly, monthly and yearly planning with material Planners and Transport Coordinators

Treat deviations and escalations in order to bring operations to a normal situation with support functions.

Take preventive and corrective actions in order to reach defined KPIs

Strengthen the functioning and performance of employees and develop their potential by coaching leadership

Work cross-functionally and managing with cooperation between different areas.
