A brief summary of the position as below: Main purpose of Quality Technician (Quality Assurance Technician) is to support deliver desired zero deviations products to protect customer. This role is closely supporting Deviation Handling, Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis, both onsite and via SCANIA IT system, and supporting supplier quality related activities.
69 Perform quality inspections and identify deviations for repair of in-process products - visually or using toolkits - to ensure proper production Act in real time to protect customer from deviation, reduce disturbances to production line, reduce products affected by deviations Be able to assembly and disassembly parts in Cab production line Reports defects and quality related issues in Quality network. Assist in conducting root cause analysis activities to determine causal factors for part/process failures Document findings and perform data entry in system (computer) accurately and timely Follow all standard operating procedures and established practices and processes. Detect and report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to proper supervision Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition in 5S way Maintain and update Quality Gate inspection list, including computer system administrative updates. Train and coach new Quality Gate Inspectors. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience Vocational or College,related working experiences one year at least
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Familiar with vehicle production & process, knowing of basic quality management process Experience and/or training in use of computer data input technology Familiar with standardized tools and methods High sense of Quality and zero deviation mindset; Self-disciplined, honest & a can-do attitude. Concentration & attention to details Experience and/or training in product or process inspection is preferred
