Who you are Support and actively contribute to maintain and improve defined quality level of products/processes in accordance with legal requirements, Alfa Laval standard/specifications and customer requirements. About the job 1 Perform quality control consistently during production and conduct final inspection on finished products or components to make sure all products/components conform to drawings/ technical regulations/ customer’s requirements etc. 2 Prepare relevant products data, such as inspection reports/ FAT reports/ shipment data etc. 3 Issue internal NCR and following it until problem solved. Record and gather quality problems found daily. 4 To suppliers: 4.1 Perform incoming products/components inspection. 4.2 Issue NCR to suppliers and following the NCR to make sure problem solved. 4.3 Assist QA to assess quality performance and determine corrective actions. 4.4 participate in annual evaluation for supplier and participate in audit for new supplier. 5 To class surveyors and customers: 5.1 Be responsible for conducting inspection with class surveyors/ customers on site. Answer surveyors/ customers' questions on site and reply to customers' comments. 5.2 Be responsible for conducting inspection with class surveyors by remote link. 5.3 Be responsible for performing inspection with foreign customers on site. 5.4 Be responsible for conducting inspection with customers by remote link. 5.5 Be responsible for keep communicating with SHA/PUS/RAU etc. office to exchange the information of customers’ voices/ products / process to improve customer satisfaction. 6 Be responsible for specific project and complicated new products. 7 To lead and participate in continuous quality improvement. Assist the responsible department to find root cause and perform improving, asses the improvement results. 8 Be responsible for handling customers’ claims. Analyze and improve by PRP/DMAIC/8D etc. to improve customer satisfaction. 9 Participate in internal/ external ISO 9001 audit and ASME/PED/Customer etc. audit. 10 Participate in process improvement/ new process development/ SOPs establishment. 11 Finish other job assigned by line manager. What you know College degree or above Mechanical background as demonstrated by prior experience. More than 2 years Quality/ Technical experience in heavy industry/shipbuilding/offshore project Flexible, able to accept and respond to multi-task assignments quickly and readily. Motivated towards productivity improvements, quality consciousness and safety awareness. Ability to think ahead, make decisions, and take appropriate action. Good English Skills (Writing, Reading and Speaking); Computer Skills - Basic MS Office
