Position Summary Responsible for establishing and communicating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) with account owners, managing cargo booking and coordination, customs clearance, and shipment tracking. Be responsible for first class sea freight and air freight (both import & export) , ensure operational SOP and KPI implementation.
Key Accountabilities - Communicate with account owner to establish SOP, including routing instructions, preferred carriers, selling rates, and special handling instructions. - Coordinate booking and space reservations with supplier. - Manage the collection/delivery of cargo and customs clearance documentation in coordination with local clients. - Ensure cargo pick-up or receipt by liaising with trucking companies or warehouses. - Confirm customs release with the broker and track shipments. - Adhere to deadlines for accurate data input into the operation system. - Fulfil other duties assigned by superiors.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience - Bachelor's degree along with 0 to 3 years' experience in freight forwarding. - Communication skills - Maintain effective communication with overseas colleagues, local clients, carriers, other forwarders, vendors. Respond promptly and efficiently to emails. - Agile Skills - Handle daily tasks effectively, even in high-pressure and emergency situations. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet various deadlines. - Computer Skills - Intermediate computer skills with a proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint) - Software skills – Experience with Cargowise, Cargos, Cargo 2000, 泰康, 吉联 as a plus.
